Come Visit the History and Heritage Uncovered in the MCS Hidden Attic 文物復現 | 繡閣猶馨

When the Convent Building was handed over to the School Sponsoring body in 2019, a hidden attic with cultural treasures was found above the false ceiling. Through artefacts like scrolls of paper embroidery patterns, haberdashery, purchase orders and different assortments of houseware, we are able to appreciate the industriousness, creativity and extraordinary skills of women designing, producing and marketing vestments for overseas priests and the Sisters’ pioneering spirit in realizing their mission of serving the poor and spreading the Christian faith.

With the generous support of The Lord Wilson Heritage Trust, The Antiquities and Monuments Office and the Maryknoll community, an exhibition will be held this summer where public will be able to find out more about the untold stories of the sewing workshop set up by the Maryknoll Sisters in the Convent!
