Ms. Elizabeth TSE

Ms. Elizabeth Tse
Councillor

Elizabeth (class of 1979) received 14 years of Maryknoll education, from kindergarten through to Form 7.  With virtually all girls in her extended family (sister, cousins, in-laws and aunts) also studying in Maryknoll from the 1960s to the 70s, her bond with Maryknoll runs in the blood.

She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong in 1984 and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1999.

Elizabeth started her career as an Administrative Officer in the Government in 1984.  She served as a permanent secretary in various portfolios, covering broadcasting and telecommunications, public finance and health policies.

She retired in mid 2020, after 36 years of service in the Government, to enjoy quality time with her family and loved ones, and to pursue interests outside work.

“To serve and not to be served” is what drives her back to her alma mater.
