Ophelia Ngan, a 1984 Maryknoll graduate, is currently supervisor of the Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section). Professionally, she is Managing Director of MEJiX, her marketing and management consultancy practice which specializes in strategic branding and communications.
Her career began with AT&T where she spent ten years in key management positions in marketing, operations, product management, customer service and strategic planning for the multinational’s telecommunications and internet businesses in the United States and Asia Pacific. After a short stint in a venture capital incubator supporting technology start-ups in Hong Kong, Ophelia turned her focus to marketing and branding, and helping clients in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, wellness, food and beverage, technology and tertiary education, align business operations and communications strategies with their core values.

With a keen interest in education, Ophelia founded a company that offered Putonghua enrichment programs based on educational psychology research to develop language and thinking skills. She serves as board director of the Creative Secondary School Management Committee and the Stanford Club of Hong Kong.

Ophelia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Stanford University, and a Master of Education degree from the University of Hong Kong. Upon completing the HKCEE at MCS, she was awarded a full scholarship to study at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales where she completed the IB diploma program.
